Spicy Margherita

Serves 1

2 jalapeño slices, seeded

1/2 ounce agave syrup

1 1/2 ounces silver tequila

1 ounce lime juice

1/2 ounce triple sec

Use the base of a wooden spoon to muddle seedless jalapeño slices and agave syrup in a cocktail shaker. Pour in the remaining ingredients and fill with ice. Shake until chilled, and strain into a glass filled with lots of ice.

Strawberry Mint Spritzer

Serves 6

1 pint strawberries, hulled, sliced, and divided

4 fresh mint leaves

6 small lemons, wedged

1 (25-ounce) bottle sake

1 (25-ounce) bottle champagne

Put 6 strawberry slices to the side for garnish. Add remaining strawberry slices and mint leaves to a large pitcher. Squeeze juice from lemons and muddle ingredients with base of a wood spoon. Fill the pitcher with ice and add equal parts sake and champagne. Stir until everything is mixed evenly.


Pomegranate Martini

Serves 1

3 ounces vodka

2 ounces pomegranate juice

5 pomegranate seeds, for garnish

Place glass into freezer for about 5 minutes to cool. Combine vodka and pomegranate juice in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into cold class. Sprinkle pomegranate seeds in the glass for garnish.

Strawberry Lemonade

Serves 6

1 (25-ounce) bottle dry sparkling rosé

1 cup vodka

12 ounces lemonade

1/2 cup club soda

2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced

3 small lemons, sliced

Combine all ingredients into a large pitcher. Stir and refrigerate until chilled (leave in fridge for at least 1 hour.)

Matador

Serves 1

1 1/2 ounces gold tequila

3 ounces pineapple juice

1/2 ounce lime juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Strain into a glass filled with ice.

Espresso Martini

Serves 1

2 ounces vodka

1 ounce freshly brewed espresso

1/2 ounce simple syrup

1/2 ounce coffee liqueur

3 coffee beans, for garnish

Place martini glass into freezer to cool. Combine all ingredients except coffee beans in a shaker filled with ice. Shake, and fine-strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass. Garnish with the coffee beans.
