Fall Galore at Trader Joe’s

Feeling festive? You can depend on Trader Joe’s for supplying in-season foods that complement the fall mood. The company is well-known for its diverse product offerings. Trader Joe's has displays full of squash, pumpkin, apple cinnamon, and flavored everything at the beginning of October. Fortunately, there is a Trader Joe's close to SCU for students to indulge in the new fall foods. I was able to make the trip to gather as much information to recommend what is worth trying this year.

If you are craving something sweet and salty, pretzels with a touch of pumpkin spice are the perfect snack to munch on when studying.

Pumpkin Spice La Colombe latte will fuel you for the day if you rely on caffeine and wish to switch from vanilla lattes. Espresso beans are a great option for individuals who don't drink coffee but appreciate the flavor.

Pumpkin spice batons are a sweet compliment to breakfast coffee or tea or can be snacked on throughout the day.

For all the pasta lovers out there, these items can be made in minutes to save time. To liven up a simple dish, Trader Joe's combines butternut squash with mac & cheese. And there’s no limit for fall themed pasta, pumpkin ravioli is another easy college meal. To enhance the pumpkin flavor you can add the ravioli in a pan and add toasted walnuts, lemon juice, and sage.

Pumpkin biscottis are best paired with coffee or tea. Another option is to spice them up with an apple cider, maple, or cinnamon spread. If pumpkin is not your thing then the spread on any pastry or rice cakes will satisfy anyone's sweet tooth.

Soup is always a simple dinner that may be combined with crackers or toast for individuals who don't have appliances or don't feel like cooking. Despite the fact that it doesn't get very cold here, the butternut squash soup and pumpkin bisque will transport you to the fall season.

Every year, I look forward to the pumpkin brioche. How to make french toast is a simple recipe to remember, and the pumpkin brioche from Trader Joe's is delicious. I start by slicing the brioche into thick slices and dipping them in an egg mixture flavored with cinnamon and nutmeg. The only thing you'll need is a frying pan to make the brioche. Powdered sugar, maple syrup, and any fruit can be sprinkled on top of the french toast. Another advantage is that the bread may be frozen, extending its expiration date and allowing you to make it beyond the fall season.

Their spicy chai latte blend and spiced chai black tea concentrate, both released just in time for the fall season, are another source of caffeine. You have complete control over how your tea is prepared, and you can drink it hot or cold.
