F A L L F A S H I O N

With summer sadly coming to an end, it is almost time to put away our bikinis and bring out the chunky knit sweaters. Although it doesn’t get too hot here in Santa Clara, layering a cute jacket on top of a graphic tee is a perfect fall look for back to school! For those of you looking for a chic outfit to start the year off right, I have found the hottest trends that we will be seeing everywhere this fall.

Square Toe Sandals 

Sandals are a great way to add a pop of color to your fall look. These yellow and cheetah print sandals will look great paired with a plain dress or even jeans and a t-shirt! 

Leather

Leather comes in many forms and is great to have as a statement piece for your outfit. Wearing a faux leather jacket under a plain t-shirt and jeans is a great elevated casual look. You can also wear faux leather leggings with a sweater over top or a leather skirt with a bodysuit. You can also layer a leather jacket with a thin sweater under for fall!

Suiting 

This year suiting is a big trend, but for college students, the best way to wear this trend is a blazer overtop your outfit. Belting your blazer is also a great way to cinch your waistline and is super flattering! You can also wear a blazer on top of just about anything whether that be layering a sweater or a t-shirt or over a dress.

Mid Length Satin Dresses and Skirts 

The summer trend of mid length skirts is continuing into fall this year. It is a great transition piece from summer to fall. When it is hotter out you can pair your skirt with a t-shirt but as it gets colder you can pair it with a sweater on top.
